Halloween 2009

The Hanson family had an awesome Halloween. Andrew started out the day with a scary treat!

Things got even scarier when Mom and Dad got all dressed up. I know, I know, how old are we, but you've got to have spirit, right?

Unfortunately the pumpkins that we bought got smashed on the road a few days before Halloween. Luckily, Jon and Ysolina grew some great pumpkins in their garden, and they brought three of them over for the kids to help carve!

We ended up with a bat, a kitty, and a witch, which corresponded with the kids' costumes. Good thing Dad is good with the knife!

Here's the whole crew heading out to gather the goodies. Grandpa Freddy, Uncle Jon, and Dad went along to supervise.

Emily and Andrew were happy to come home and show off their treats, but Sarah and Savannah stayed out late collecting more. It was a great day filled, with fun, family, and SUGAR!!
