On Wednesday we got up early for a breakfast with the Disney characters. We went to "Goofy's kitchen" at the Disneyland hotel, and the first character that we met was Pluto.
We had a delicious buffet breakfast, but the highlight was the characters that kept coming to our table.
Goofy liked Emily's braids, because they looked like his ears!
Goofy mixed up some fun, and the kids got out on the dance floor!
After breakfast we rode the Monorail back into Disneyland. We had a great view of the Matterhorn, which turned out to be one of the girls' favorite rides.
We waited in the longest line of the day to see the Disney Princesses, but it was all worth it when Emily saw her favorite princess, Aurora.
Andrew got the "patient brother" award for waiting in line for an hour to see princesses that he wasn't even excited about.
But it was worth it in the end when we got to the gift shop and he found a cool sword and shield.
We also found the prettiest princesses of the day in the gift shop.
After the princesses we went to Toontown. The kids loved Goofy's house and all of the fun cars and boats to climb on.
We lucked out when we got to Mickey's house, and he was there!
Unfortunately Andrew was not happy at the time, and he really didn't like Mickey!
The day was wet and rainy, but we made the most of it and enjoyed the short lines.
We finished up the day by visiting the fairies in "Pixie Hollow". The girls knew all of the fairies' names, but the only one that I recognized was Tinkerbell.
One last trip to the candy store, and our trip was complete. We had a wonderful time and made lots of great memories!
