A Busy Valentines Week

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. I guess I'm finally joining the "cool" people! We've had a really busy week, so it's probably a good time for me to start.

Sarah and Savannah had a really busy week at school. Monday was the 100th day of school, which is a big deal when you're in kindergarten. Then on Thursday we went to Savannah's President's day program. She said her part perfectly, and we learned a lot about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

We were also lucky enough to have a visit from Grandpa Fred and Grandma Jane this week. We packed in lots of fun while they were here. One new development was that Chad converted Emily and Andrew's beds from cribs into toddler beds. They are so excited to be big kids! Of course, nap time is a nightmare now, but oh well!

We also had a wonderful Valentine's day. We spent the day making sugar cookies, and Sarah and Savannah also worked on painting a bird house.

On Sunday the girls had a graduation recital at our house. Sarah just finished Suzuki book 4, and Savannah finished book 1. They did a great job, and we were very proud of them.
